When you’re moving to a new home, you start to calculate in your head the things that are essential, and the things you should just get rid of; one of the biggest mistakes people use is selling their furniture before they move to their new home.
Of course selling items you no longer need is a great way to earn some extra bucks, but furniture should not be that item you want to sell right away. Bring the old furniture with you, and after everything is fully unloaded and placed in your new home, and the old furniture you brought does not fit, THEN sell it!
You don’t want to sell your furniture too early, because what happens when you get to your new location, and you say to yourself: “Oh man I could have used that couch I sold”? If this happens to you, now you have to go out and buy a new couch, and probably have to pay double what you sold your old furniture for!
So the point of this rant, is to hold off on selling your furniture, until you’re 100% sure you don’t need it! Buying new furniture is expensive! Unless you were planning on buying new furniture from the begging, bring your old furniture to the new location!
