Don’t always count on help from family and friends on move Day!
A few months back we completed a last minute move for an elderly couple from Weymouth, MA. They had spent 37 years in that same home. Family and friends had all promised to come and help them move but when it came time and their house was sold, very few actually came through for them. That is when they called Expert Moving & Storage. We offered the senior discount on their move even though it was a last minute booking and that was definitely the right way to start off our relationship.
What a move it was! Day 1 was just packing and sorting. Good thing we were able to provide all of the boxes and wrapping materials in such short notice. There was years and year’s worth of life to pack up. We also loaded one of our trucks for a trip to the dump on day 1. On day 2 we loaded up all of their belongings and brought them to our climate controlled storage facility in Hingham. They were so relieved to have all of that packing and moving done, and “done correctly” if I may quote the client’s exact words.
We finally just last week moved this couple from our storage facility into their new home at The Pine Hills in Plymouth. Again they were not only happy to no longer have to deal with yard work & shoveling, but they were again absolutely thrilled with the service we provided. Another happy customer added to our reference list.
